To promote, coordinate,

and foster lifelong learning

opportunities for adult

residents in the

Smoky River Region.

Access to lifelong learning is necessary to enable adults to grow and to better understand and cope with changing social and economic conditions.  Lifelong learning contributes to the overall quality of life. 

The community based Adult Learning Council is most suited to creating meaningful and responsive program experiences.  Cooperation and coordination of programming will allow for maximum involvement of adults.
